Creative Writing Course
Our creative writing course is designed and tailored individually to guide children from age 8+ through eight fun, engaging lessons that help them explore every corner of their imagination. Each lesson focuses on a different aspect of creative writing - from building characters and designing magical worlds to crafting exciting plots and playing with poetic language. Children learn step-by-step, developing confidence, improving their writing skills, and discovering the joy of expressing their ideas.
Throughout the course, students will complete a variety of short activities, mini-stories, and creative challenges that encourage them to think boldly and write proudly. By the end of the program, all of your child’s best work will be carefully collected into a personalised digital creative writing booklet -a special keepsake that celebrates their progress, creativity, and unique voice.
This course is designed to be both educational and enjoyable, giving children the tools they need to become confident storytellers while having fun along the way.
The course can offer lessons on a 1:1 basis or if preferred, they can also be in small groups of up to 3 students at a time.
About Me
My name is Gina Louise Smart, and I’m a bilingual teacher, poet, and creative writing mentor living in Sweden. I have an education in Linguistics and Psychology and a Postgraduate in English Teaching. For more than six years, I’ve had the joy of teaching children from many different backgrounds, helping them grow in confidence, creativity, and self-expression. As the author of a short poetry book An Orchid’s Truth, I’ve experienced firsthand how powerful words can be, and I love sharing that magic with young writers.
Creative writing has always been my passion, and I truly believe it gives children lifelong skills - from communication and imagination to problem-solving and confidence. Through my lessons, I aim to create a space where children feel free to explore their ideas, discover their unique voice, and feel genuinely proud of the work they produce.
My hope is that every child who joins my course not only learns how to write creatively but also discovers the joy and excitement that comes from bringing their ideas to life on the page. Increasing both their confidence and also their productivity in creativeness!
